Apprentice of the Month - April

To recognise the hard work of learners, our Tutors are nominating those who are doing exceptionally well throughout their apprenticeship to be awarded as our Apprentice of the Month.

Congratulations to our April Apprentice of the Month, Aaron Barton! Aaron is currently completing his Level 2 Customer Service Apprenticeship with Aceso and was nominated by his tutor, Damien and Line Manager, Louise.

Aaron’s Tutor, Damien said:

“Aaron began his Customer Service Apprenticeship with LSP on 07/09/22. He is employed as Health Care and Group Risk Administrator for Aceso, a health insurance broker. Aaron was new to the industry and had adapted remarkably quickly, dealing with insurers, consultants and company HR departments.”

“Aaron realises the importance of his job role. Health insurance is very important to Aceso’s clients. Information must be accurate and up to date, and they must follow strict legislation. I was able to observe Aaron at work this month, and witnessed him being very professional and careful making notes on customer files.”

“Aaron genuinely cares about the quality of his work. He has already completed most of his PowerPoint presentation and is working on fine tuning this for his EPA. He regularly asks for feedback to improve his work.”

“Aaron has been an inspirational apprentice to work with. I have seen more development in him in the 7 months I have known him that I thought possible. He is an accomplished member of the team now and I expect him to have a great future with the company.”

“Aaron has developed a passion for the industry and has set his sights on becoming a chartered insurance broker. He is hoping, that after his apprenticeship, he can continue with further insurance qualifications.”

Aaron’s Line Manager, Louise said:

“I am so impressed with how Aaron has progressed since joining the apprenticeship. This month he has worked independently managing the team’s workload in the office without any day-to-day support from the consultants. He always goes above and beyond to ensure the work is accurate and done in a timely manner. He is more confident on the phone and able to handle sensitive tasks regarding personal claims.

On a personal note, Aaron is well mannered and considerate of others. He has such a bright career ahead and I look forward to being alongside him on this journey.
