Apprentice of the Month - December
To recognise the hard work of learners, our Tutors are nominating those who are doing exceptionally well throughout their apprenticeship to be awarded as our Apprentice of the Month.
Well done to Saliya Khaliq who has been awarded as our Apprentice of the Month in December! Saliya is currently completing her Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship with NHS Buckinghamshire.
Saliya’s Tutor, Joan said:
“Saliya started her Apprenticeship at the end of July this year in the midst of the pandemic whilst working in the NHS sector, she started as being a very shy quiet person, but has come out of her shell now and enjoys interacting in the group teaching sessions.”
“Saliya wants to progress with the NHS sector and is working hard on the both the Diploma and the standard to be able to assist her to achieve this as well as completing further training in the workplace.”
“Although Saliya and her parents have suffered family deaths from Covid within the far-reaching family in Pakistan and having to make the journey there to see them before hand, she remained positive throughout this period.”
“Saliya enjoys her role within the NHS and even though she is not on the front line, she plays a vital part of planning and ensuring that vital training can go ahead for staff.”
“As well as the family deaths in Pakistan, when Saliya returned to England she herself was diagnosed with Covid and was unable to do the coursework that had been set for her, but managed to carry on with some of her role from home.”
“Saliya showed great concern that she was behind with her coursework and made a fantastic effort to catch up before the next planned session after all that she had endured throughout the last two months.”
“Saliya has remained engaged and working on her coursework throughout the difficult times in her personal life as well as working through the Pandemic and is on target with her coursework.”
Congratulations Saliya for being awarded as Apprentice of the Month. A huge well done for staying positive and progressing so well throughout your apprenticeship despite having to deal with so much during these difficult times.
