Safeguarding and Prevent Newsletter - Feb 25

Welcome to Our Safeguarding & Prevent Newsletter!

At LSP, we are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our apprentices, staff, and employers. This newsletter aims to provide key updates, essential information, and useful resources to help you understand your role in Safeguarding and Prevent.

What is Safeguarding & Prevent?

Safeguarding is about protecting individuals from harm, neglect, abuse, and exploitation. It applies to everyone, but especially to children and vulnerable adults.

The Prevent Duty is part of the UK’s counter-terrorism strategy. It aims to stop individuals from being drawn into terrorism or extremist activities. As apprentices, staff, and employers, we all have a responsibility to be vigilant and report any concerns.
