Who is the Construction Quantity Surveying Apprenticeship for?
Quantity Surveying is concerned with controlling and managing the costs of construction projects. As a Quantity Surveying Technician, you could be involved with any stage of a project, from feasibility, design and construction, through to extension, refurbishment, maintenance and even demolition.
Typical job titles can include: Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Construction Surveyor, Quantity Surveying Technician, Assistant Cost Engineer or Assistant Cost Analyst.

On completion, learners can progress onto the Level 6 Construction Quantity Surveyor Degree or the Level 6 Construction Site Management Degree, resulting in a Degree certification, including professional accreditation.
How much does the Construction Quantity Surveying Technician Apprenticeship cost?
This programme costs £9,000 and is covered through a companies Apprenticeship Levy.
If the employer pays into the levy, the programme cost is fully covered through their levy contributions. For employers who do not pay into the levy, the payment structure is as follows:
Employers without a levy contribution will pay only 5% of the programme cost (£450) if the the apprentice is aged 22 or over.
Employers will receive full funding if the apprentice is aged 21 or under.
