Who is the Customer Service Specialist for?
The Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship is for those wanting to progress in their career in Customer Service, working at a professional level in direct customer support. It is for advocates of Customer Service who acts as a referral point for dealing with more complex or technical customer requests, complaints, and queries. Often an escalation point for complicated or ongoing customer problems, it leads the person to be expert in your organisation’s products and/or services, which is shared with teams and colleagues.
Study Mode
Online with tutor led sessions
Blended learning with online and face to face sessions and support (at the employers premises)
There is an End Point Assessment for this Apprenticeship - This is when the Apprentice will demonstrate they have learnt the required knowledge, skills and behaviours.

Completion of this apprenticeship will lead to eligibility to join the Institute of Customer Service as an Individual member at Professional level. Should you choose to progress on a customer service career path, you may be eligible for further professional membership including management.

How much does the Customer Service Specialist cost?
This programme costs £4,000 and is covered through a companies Apprenticeship Levy.
If the employer pays into the levy, the programme cost is fully covered through their levy contributions. For employers who do not pay into the levy, the payment structure is as follows:
Employers without a levy contribution will pay only 5% of the programme cost (£200) if the the apprentice is aged 22 or over.
Employers will receive full funding if the apprentice is aged 21 or under.
