Our Commitment to a Safer Environment
Safeguarding is not just about compliance; it’s about creating an open, supportive, and proactive culture where everyone feels safe, respected, and valued. Whether in the workplace, online, or within training settings, we encourage a culture that:
Supports and encourages professional curiosity – We want all staff, learners, and employers to feel empowered to ask questions, seek clarity, and challenge concerns in a safe and supportive way.
Encourages vigilance – Spotting the early signs of abuse, neglect, radicalisation, or exploitation can make a huge difference in protecting individuals at risk.
Promotes open dialogue – By fostering an environment of trust, we ensure that learners and staff feel comfortable discussing concerns without fear of judgment.
Champions continuous learning – We provide ongoing training and resources to ensure that everyone remains informed and confident in their safeguarding responsibilities.
Safeguarding Self Alert Form
This form allows learners to directly alert the LSP safeguarding team if they are concerned about their safety or well-being. It is a confidential way to raise concerns or ask for support without having to go through other channels. The safeguarding team will review each submission and respond accordingly to provide appropriate assistance.
Embedding Safeguarding into Everyday Practice
We believe safeguarding is not just a policy—it’s a mindset. To build a culture where safeguarding is the norm, we are:
Providing regular training & updates – Ensuring all staff, learners, and employers are equipped with the knowledge to identify and respond to safeguarding concerns.
Encouraging early intervention – Recognising the importance of taking action at the earliest opportunity to prevent harm.
Strengthening our reporting mechanisms – Making it simple and accessible for anyone to report concerns confidentially.
Collaborating with partners – Working closely with external agencies, local authorities, and safeguarding specialists to create a robust support network.
Your Role in Creating a Safer Culture
Everyone has a role to play in safeguarding. Whether you are a learner, a member of staff, or an employer, your awareness and actions contribute to a safer and more inclusive environment. We encourage you to:
✅ Stay informed – Engage with our safeguarding resources and training sessions.
✅ Be proactive – Speak up if you notice something concerning.
✅ Foster a safe space – Encourage discussions around well-being and support others in seeking help.
Together, We Can Make Safeguarding the Norm
By embedding safeguarding into our culture, we create an environment where safety, well-being, and respect are at the core of our everyday interactions. Let’s work together to ensure that safeguarding and Prevent are more than just policies—they become a fundamental part of who we are.
