Apprentice of the Month - November
To recognise the hard work of learners, our Tutors are nominating those who are doing exceptionally well throughout their apprenticeship to be awarded as our Apprentice of the Month.
Congratulations to our November Apprentice of the Month, Charlotte Brown! Charlotte is currently completing her Level 4 Quantity Surveying Technician Apprenticeship with Smiths Sports Civils and was nominated by her Tutor, Angela.
Charlotte’s Tutor, Angela said:
“I took over as Tutor with Charlotte’s group in Mid-August this year. From the very first day it was evident that Charlotte was an excellent student. She is both hard working and efficient in everything she does in class. Her extraordinary standard of work sets the bar high for the other students to aim towards and her fabulously researched assignment work has thus far led to Distinction Grades across the board. If this isn’t enough, I have learned that Charlotte is also a very tough person too, as she trains in martial arts, wow! She is, in my opinion, a high flying rocket who will go far and do very well in her chosen profession of Quantity Surveying.”
“Throughout the HNC course Charlotte has provided research and feedback on a vast range of topics within the HNC. She works well with the other students; providing them with support and the benefit of her knowledge and experience.”
“In terms of being a ‘model student and apprentice’, Charlotte is making it happen in a way that has corporate and professional ethics in mind. This is apparent in her approach in class and in her assignments, where she always takes the ‘long route’ to success, without compromising the quality or quantity of her work.”
“Demonstrating her naturally caring nature is no challenge for Charlotte. She is doing this at work every day by making sure she is supporting her line manager at all times and providing a high standard of production fuelled by enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.”
“Charlotte is an inspiration to all potential learners. She is about to ‘step up to the plate’ while her line manager takes maternity leave. This involves her getting to know the current projects in greater detail and working directly with the senior management team to support them and the projects on site.”
“From the very first conversation I had with Charlotte it was evident how passionate she is about her job. While she has worked with her company for a while, a recent change of role has required her to learn new things about the company and their projects, as well as assimilate different ways of doing task and supporting the Lead QS in her role.”
Charlotte’s Line Manager says:
“Charlotte is as brilliant at work as she is in her apprenticeship course. She is hard working, conscientious and doing very well at her job. Charlie is also enjoyable to be around, loyal and caring to her colleagues.”
Congratulations Charlotte for being awarded as LSP’s Apprentice of the Month. It is clear that you are passionate about progressing within your role and set a shining example for all potential apprentices.
