Line Manager of the Month - November

To recognise the continuous encouragement provided by line managers, our learners and tutors are nominating those who are offering outstanding support to be in for a chance of being awarded as the Line Manager of the Month.

Congratulations to our November Line Manager of the Month, Dan Lloyd!

Dan was nominated by LSP Tutor, Fiona, for the fantastic support that he offers his learner Molly, who is currently completing her Level 4 Associate Project Manager programme with Solutions 24-7.

Fiona said:

“Dan attends Molly’s sessions and since she started with 24/7 he has been her Mentor, coaching and developing Molly within her role. He takes a professional interest in her qualification, the tasks she is set and ensures she has time to complete her work, answering her questions and helping her in areas such as legislation and governance within her industry for her presentation. He has confirmed that Molly picks things up easily.”

“Dan explained to me that he wanted to give Molly every opportunity to develop at Solutions 24-7 and was involved in putting a plan in place for Molly to achieve the PMQ qualification with structured learning and development opportunities.”

“Dan genuinely cares about Molly’s development and wants her to succeed and takes an avid interest in her apprenticeship, the work she needs to complete and inspires her to work to the highest standards, supporting her with her apprenticeship course work and listening to her ideas and opinions.”

“Since the start of her role, Dan has proactively helped Molly to learn and understand the business, steering her through a comprehensive induction and providing mentoring and job shadowing activities to develop her knowledge and skills across all aspects of the business. He has inspired Molly to grow and develop, within her role, teaching her new skills and ensuring she learns the systems and software needed to carry out her role effectively.”

“Dan provides Molly with exceptional support, and during the visit, when we discussed the teaching and learning session and requirements for developing her presentation, he offered his support in helping Molly find company information that would be inspirational and interesting for her presentation to bring Molly’s ideas to life using PowerPoint. It’s clear that Dan cares about the quality of Molly’s work. He has real passion and pride in the company he works for, is a great ambassador for their brand and demonstrates their people centred culture and commitment to developing apprentices within their business.”

Congratulations Dan for this amazing nomination! The ongoing support and inspiration that Molly receives will have a huge positive impact on her career progression and the successful completion of her apprenticeship.
