Apprentice of the Month - October
To recognise the hard work of learners, our Tutors are nominating those who are doing exceptionally well throughout their apprenticeship to be awarded as our Apprentice of the Month.
Well done to Chris Beall who has been awarded as our Apprentice of the Month in October! Chris is currently completing his Level 2 Business Administration apprenticeship with Bristol Street Motors.
Chris’s Tutor, Karen said:
“Chris had not been in his placement too long when he was put on furlough, throughout the time we stayed in touch and focused on the knowledge for his course. Chris was so positive throughout; he continuously met his targets and was in touch if he wasn’t sure. Chris has a smile in his voice.”
“Chris works with the accountant and hopefully this will be the next step that Chris takes, if he continues with his positive can-do attitude.”
“I received a piece of work from Chris that I had asked him to complete, it was to cover the use of spreadsheets, when I received and reviewed this it made me smile as I could see the amount of work that had been put into this, he had given a full in depth explanation of what he did and demonstrated through screenshots, he has shown what fantastic commitment he has to his course.”
“Chris is totally committed to his course and has a sense of purpose, this shows he is using his initiative, he hits his targets, continuously updates his learning and contact hours and checks his file regularly.”
“Chris is polite and professional he works well under the pressures of work and remains calm; he is not afraid to ask for help and support where he can.”
“Chris has taken full responsibility for his apprenticeship and his progression; he makes sure he hits his targets and does so with excellent work and commitment.”
“Chris is 100% engaged on his course, he strives for perfection in all that he does, he is an excellent example of a young apprentice.”
Chris’s Manager, Shaun said:
“This is excellent news and deserves the nomination.
I echo what has been stated, Chris gives 100% to the tasks outlined to him and will ask/query anything that he does not understand, this is a really good as I have known people ignore an issue hoping it goes away, with Chris this is not the case.
I advised Chris to always take notes of any new tasks he undertakes even if it seems simple at the time. Chris does this and understands it helps when certain tasks are only undertaken once a month.”
Congratulations Chris for this amazing nomination. Well done for being so focused and continually meeting your targets even whilst being furloughed. Keep up the great work!
