Apprentice of the Month - October
To recognise the hard work of learners, our Tutors are nominating those who are doing exceptionally well throughout their apprenticeship to be awarded as our Apprentice of the Month.
Congratulations to our October Apprentice of the Month, Olly Thorburn! Just three months into his Level 2 Trade Supplier programme with EDA Apprenticeships, Olly has been nominated by LSP Tutor Damien for his passion for developing within his role.
Olly’s Tutor, Damien said:
“Olly began his apprenticeship on 24/08/21. Initially working mainly in the warehouse picking and packing orders, he has recently adapted to doing deliveries.”
“Olly completed an entry into his learner journal this month, explaining a situation where a delivery he was doing was missing an order. He was able to rectify this and keep the customer happy by returning to collect the item.”
“It is clear to me that Olly cares about his job role and is doing the best job he can do. He has amended his process after missing an item for delivery by marking boxes so it doesn’t happen in future.”
“Olly has completed all of the work set so far to a very high standard and always on time. I can tell he has a passion for challenging himself to learn more and develop his skills.”
“Olly’s standard of work is very high and he takes pride in doing the best job he can do. He is friendly and engaged with the qualification and is a pleasure to work with.”
Congratulations Olly for being awarded as LSP’s Apprentice of the Month. Although you have only been on your programme for three months you are making a huge difference at your place of work. All work set is completed to a very high standard and is always submitted on time. It is amazing to hear about your passion for challenging yourself to learn more and develop skills.
