Line Manager of the Month - December

Congratulations to our December Line Manager of the Month, Kate Harris.

Kate is the line manager to Thomas who is currently completing his L3 Civil Engineering Technician Apprenticeship with Stantec, and was nominated by Support Coach, Katherine.

Katherine said:

“Kate is a committed line manager to Thomas and makes an effort to be flexible within her approach, and therefore support her apprentice. I feel as though Kate has clear direction, in addition to having priority decision making. An example of this is making an effort to being fully aware of Thomas’s progress within the learning.”

“I feel as though Kate as a line manager does operate ethically she doesn’t compromise on doing the right thing in the sense that she works hard to b a good line manager for her apprentice Thomas, and had good attendance for the reviews, and engagement.”

“I feel as though Kate does genuinely care about her apprentices, and therefore has a person-centred approach towards her employees. She is always engaged within the session and is clearly committed to her employees development.”

“I feel as though Kate is an inspirational line manager and inspires growth for her apprentice Thomas, I feel as though she challenges others to create new ideas for the best interests of her apprentices.”

“Kate is passionate about learning, takes pride in her work, and generally has positive influence on her employees progression as an apprentice. I feel as though Kate does take pride in her work and does never comprise on quality.”
