Line Manager of the Month - February

Congratulations to our February Line Manager of the Month, Joanna Levett-Prinsep.

Joanna was nominated by LSP Tutor, Robert, for her amazing involvement in progress of her learner Sophie, who is currently completing her Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship with Castle Trust.

This quote from an email Sophie sent to Joanna says it all:

LSP Tutor, Robert said:

“Joanna has been great to work with! She has been one of the most supportive line managers I have come across. At all times she has placed Sophie’s best interests at heart and has always striven to enable her to be the best that she can be. She has been so supportive of Sophie and has always been there for her to ensure she has had the right opportunities and guidance around her to succeed. In my honest opinion, she is a real asset to Omni Capital, and it’s been a pleasure working with her. Without a doubt, she significantly contributed to Sophie achieving her recent distinction as well as her FS maths.”

“Jo has been extremely supportive and took an active part in ensuring Sophie was always progressing whilst on programme. She often made suggestions about how Sophie could capture evidence from their work and apply it to the standard, for example. She also gave Sophie the time she needed to study for her FS maths. She has also organised a significant amount of additional responsibility and training for Sophie alongside providing constructive feedback, so she is always aiming to improve.”

“Jo never compromises on doing the right thing. She is firm but fair with Sophie and is well respected because of that. She also supported Sophie emotionally as she approached EPA and the nerves, understandably, kicked in.”

“Throughout, Jo extended support to Sophie beyond Robert’s teaching sessions, allocating dedicated time for her assignments. Her evident concern for Sophie’s success has been demonstrated both in the workplace and throughout the apprenticeship. She spent additional time with Sophie to help her rehearse her Professional Discussion and Showcase Presentation which supported Sophie immeasurably and gave her so much more confidence. Furthermore, as noted always gave Sophie the time she needed to study for her FS maths.”
