Get to know the the LSP Team

As part of a regular feature we would like to give an insight into the LSP team members. It is always nice to find out a little more about those we work alongside and many of our staff have a wealth of knowledge, interests and hobbies that would really surprise you!

Meet Neil Snowdon

Business Development Manager

What sort of duties do you have at work?

Manage the transition of new employers through to the Partnership Team.

Understand the employers business in order to identify opportunities that add value and improve profitability and performance. 

What is the most exciting part of your job?

Travelling (not at the moment) and meeting so many employers who have the same passion to employ an Apprentice and give them and opportunity. 

What is the best place you have travelled to?

I have been lucky enough some years ago to spend some time at Kombo Beach in the Gambia, but spending time at the Magical Northumberland Coast is second to none.

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies? 

 I love walking, reading and have a passion for music and going to see bands.

Do you have any pets?

No, but my daughters dog is called Buster and he’s a Maniac when we’re out walking. 

What do you do in your spare time (if you have any)?

I spend as much of my spare time with my 5 grandchildren. 

What is your greatest achievement?

I’ve had a lot of achievements over the years, but following Middlesborough FC around Europe and going to the UEFA cup final is up there. It won’t happen again for a very long time.

What is the dream car you would love to drive?

Bentley Continental GT V8 S.

The best piece of advice you would give to your 16-year-old self?

Whatever you want in life, aim to go and achieve it because you deserve it. LIVE – LOVE - LAUGH.
