Get to know the LSP Team - Tracy Gale

Get to know the the LSP Team

As part of a regular feature we would like to give an insight into the LSP team members. It is always nice to find out a little more about those we work alongside and many of our staff have a wealth of knowledge, interests and hobbies that would really surprise you!

Meet Tracy Gale

Quality Manager

What sort of duties do you have at work?

As the Quality Manager for the business and automotive side of the company, my role is to support the team with all quality issues. I work with the team to ensure that we provide a quality provision and ensure that all teaching and learning is engaging and that learners get the best experience on their apprenticeship to support their career aspirations. I also support other teams within the business to achieve LSPs goals.

What is the most exciting part of your job?

Seeing the results come through for learners who have gone through their EPA. Getting involved in the wider quality community and seeing how we can implement new ideas at LSP.

What is the best place you have travelled to?

That’s a hard one, haven’t been many places but it’s a draw between Thailand and Kenya. Would love to do some more travelling.

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?

No, nothing that I can think of, unless you class falling over while stood still or falling up stairs a talent. I do like watching or reading about real crime and would love to do a criminology degree.

Do you have any pets?

I have my cat Noodle, who likes to join all our Teams meeting. He is a ginger tom and just turned 13 in March. He certainly knows what he wants and who he likes, which is generally just me unless my partner has just got in and is going to give him his treats.

What do you do in your spare time (if you have any)?

I like going to watch live bands and when I’m at home, I like to watch a good series on Netflix or read one of the many books I have downloaded.

What is your greatest achievement?

I don’t know really, just getting through each day can seem like an achievement but I suppose having a man that I know I can spend the rest of my life with and having great friends is my best achievement to date.

What is the dream car you would love to drive?

Not much of a car person to be honest, they are there to get me from one place to another. However, I do like my Aston Martins, from anything like the classic DB5 bond car to the all-new DBX and everything in between. Also, you can’t beat the sound of a Harley Davison riding past you, especially as a pack. Would also love a camper van so that we can start exploring more.

The best piece of advice you would give to your 16-year-old self?

There’s 2 pieces of advice I would give. 1, believe in yourself and your dreams, you are good enough, your dreams are in reach and nothing can stop you if you really want it and 2, don’t be afraid to ask for help, someone will always be there when you need it.
