Zero Discrimination Day 2021 - E&D Theme of the Month

Zero Discrimination Day is celebrated annually on the 1st March. The day aims to highlight the importance of living life with dignity regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, skin colour, weight or height etc. The worldwide event exists to promote diversity and acknowledge that everyone counts!

The aim this year is to highlight the critical need to take action to end the inequalities surrounding income, age, health status, sex, disability, occupation, drug use, sexual orientation, gender identity, class, race, ethnicity and religion that continue to persist around the world.

Discrimination has many forms, from racial or religious discrimination to discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation or age, and to bullying at school or at work.
