Get to know the the LSP Team

As part of a regular feature we would like to give an insight into the LSP team members. It is always nice to find out a little more about those we work alongside and many of our staff have a wealth of knowledge, interests and hobbies that would really surprise you!

Meet Dylan Hopper

Partner Account Manager

What sort of duties do you have at work?

My role as Partner Account Manager is to be the link between our clients and the delivery team. I advise our clients on a wide range of things such as how to utilise their Apprenticeship Levy as well as providing them regular updates on the progress of their apprentices. I also assist with the onboarding of new learners providing engagement sessions to individuals considering enrolling on to an apprenticeship.

What is the most exciting part of your job?

I think the most exciting part of my job is that every day is different and that I get to speak to so many different people, whether that be a client or a new learner. Getting the opportunity to attend recruitment days is also an exciting part of my job as it is rewarding to see individuals taking their first steps towards their career goals.

What is the best place you have travelled to?

This has to be going to Vegas for my 21st.

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?

Unfortunately I don’t have any hidden talents but I’m a keen rugby league fan and I also like to do a bit of running every now and again.

What do you do in your spare time (if you have any)?

In my spare time I am either running, watching Netflix or gaming.

The best piece of advice you would give to your 16 year old self?

The best piece of advice I’d give my younger self is not to worry so much, I think we put too much pressure on ourselves when it’s really not needed. I’d also tell my younger self to get an apprenticeship straight from school rather than going to college as I basically wasted 2 years when I could have been earning money!
