Apprentice of the Month - July
To recognise the hard work of learners, our Tutors are nominating those who are doing exceptionally well throughout their apprenticeship to be awarded as our Apprentice of the Month.
Well done to Freya Eyre who has been awarded as our Apprentice of the Month in July! Freya has recently completed her Level 2 Business Administration apprenticeship at Pentagon, West Hallam.
Freya’s Tutor, Karen said:
“I have nominated Freya as she has inspired me to remain positive during these unprecedented times. Freya has worked from home all the way through lockdown and maintained her high level of work, finishing college work to complete her apprenticeship whilst also offering me unconditional emotional and practical support (I lost my mum at the start of lockdown) whilst dealing with her own anxiety due to this new way of working. Freya has never wavered and continued to learn and excel.”
“Freya is keen to continue working for Pentagon Fleet and progress through the Admin role to become a Sales Co-ordinator. The next steps will be supporting her in looking after an account of her own and learning and dealing with the account from beginning to end and being responsible for it, this will not be a problem as Freya gives 100% in whatever task she has to complete.”
“Freya always comes into work with a positive attitude and a smile on her face.”
“Freya has worked extremely hard using the time available within working hours as well as using her own time to complete her work to a very high standard, always meeting deadlines.”
“The influence on the office with Freya can be one of calmness but also fun. Freya, although shy, has started to come out of her shell and has a great sense of humour - albeit quite dry on occasion, she can have us in stitches. A welcome tonic on stressful days and she is loved by all colleagues.”
“Freya’s confidence has grown and with it the confidence to take on more responsibility and not always because she has been directed or asked to. Freya has naturally progressed and naturally taken control of certain areas without sometimes realising she has done this. This is purely because she has gained the understanding of the whole process of a particular tasks (there are lots of elements to what we would call one task) she would initially only) have had a hand in – she has then communicated that she has completed everything to do with that particular task.”
“Freya is not afraid to ask questions and has thirst for knowledge, always enquiring – How, Why and What can she do to help. Freya is organised, has a planner and manages her time effectively and productively.”
“Freya’s hard work, dedication and positive attitude deserves to be recognised – she is truly an inspiration.”
Congratulations Freya for the great nomination from your tutor. Well done for being so engaged and keen to progress even through these difficult times!
