Congratulations to Akshay for being awarded as our Line Manager of the Month in April!

Akshay was nominated by his learners Shavanti and Haroon who are currently completing their Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeships with Zentar Healthcare UK.

Akshay’s learners, Shavanti and Haroon said:

“Our line manager Akshay always engages with us whether it is talking leisurely or about work and we are comfortable approaching him to anything. Akshay will always ask us how our coursework is going or any events that is happening. He always makes sure he engages and communicates not with us alone but everyone else in the office.”

“Whenever we have any queries or requests Akshay is always ready to listen to us whether that is over the phone or in person. If there is any complaint or issues as Kay will always listen and follow up on the issues, this makes us feel very valued as apprentices. Akshay is always open to listen to ideas about how to improve the workload from how we name documents to how we make go through the compliance process.”

“Akshay encourages us by giving us targets to meet and rewarding us in return which is always a good thing and helps us strive to improve and meet deadlines at work. Having that encouragement improved our work ethic and reduce bad habits as we always have something to work towards.”

“Our Manager always shows good values in the workplace. He does this by ensuring all work that is done to a good standard and will always find ways to improve and adapt to changes when communicating with nurses to how we upload documents to Pulse.”

“Akshay will always take accountability for any mistakes. He will always take in his mistake see what can be approved and change it. This sets an amazing example for us and we can see that mistakes are normal and can happen it’s just taking accountability for it and improved and adapt.”

“There is a lot of trust between Akshay and us as we help to manage compliance when Akshay is in meetings and trust that Akshay will help us complete the work we have for the day if it gets busy etc. We are able to come to Akshay if we need to talk to him in full confidence and comfortability. He is a very understanding person who’s is always willing to help.”

“A managers presence and relations with co-workers has a big effect on the work ethic and work environment. Akshay has an very positive effect on our work ethic and work environment. He always makes sure that everyone is feeling good, he will always have a conversation with everyone in the office but will also make sure the work is correct and up to standards.”

Congratulations Akshay for this amazing nomination! It is clear to see that Shavanti and Haroon feel supported within their role and the completion of their apprenticeship. A fully engaged manager always makes a huge difference to learners!
