As part of a regular feature we would like to give an insight into the LSP team members. It is always nice to find out a little more about those we work alongside and many of our staff have a wealth of knowledge, interests and hobbies that would really surprise you!

Meet Mandy Murray

Learning and Development Coach

What sort of duties do you have at work?

Coaching and support of learners undertaking the Assistant Accounting L3 Apprenticeship, visiting them for observations, invigilation of tests and delivering to them any required Functional Skills.

What is the most exciting part of your job?

Awaiting results of AAT tests coming through when the learner is looking over my shoulder in anticipation!

What is the best place you have travelled to?

New Zealand.

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies? 

I like to Garden, grow veg and cook and eat it!

Do you have any pets?

Not of my own, but am frequently called upon to “dog sit” for my friend’s fur baby Echo.

What do you do in your spare time (if you have any)?

Garden, socialise, walk Echo and when really motivated – go to the Gym.

What is your greatest achievement?

I have worked in adult training for over 30 years.

What is the dream car you would love to drive?

Aston Martin DB11.

The best piece of advice you would give to your 16-year-old self?

Believe in yourself, you can do anything you like, if you only apply yourself and take that first step you will attain your goals.
